Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
other ways to give

Each Sunday worship service provides a prayerful and contemplative Offertory, wherein you are invited to give via the passing plate or just enjoy this moment of quiet thanks and praise. Or mail a check to WUMC, PO Box 12, Washougal WA 98671.
This dinner features “ground hog” – also known as “sausage”! Made from a secret family recipe, this fund raising event brings church families together as we serve the larger Washougal community with a sausage, biscuits, and gravy dinner people wait all year to enjoy. Everyone in the church is invited to pitch in as well as feast and enjoy.

Usually occurring in November, this volunteer-run, creative event celebrates everything we love about our community: creative and experienced individuals come together all year long to teach their craft to anyone who is interested. Then they sell their wares (including delicious baked goods and a yummy soup dinner with fresh made rolls) on the second weekend in November. Ten percent of the money is donated to a local organization that keep family and God as their focus.

Including the church in your estate planning process is one way to ensure your faith is honored. If you feel this is the right fit for your family, please reach out to our Finance Committee and they will be happy to provide information
